Though some may seem basic, overall there are so many tips that one or two will work for anyone, and being able to review and think about packing helps alot. I love travelling when I get a chance (which never seems to be often enough it seems) but with longer lines and more restrictions, I tried to find different ways to get where I was going with less things to carry.I did get better, and some friends who travel often gave me some good tips, and mentioned this book, so I picked it up.It is very detailed and makes good sense in order to cut down weight and size.
I am now traveling heavily in a new job, but have found little useful info here. I thought this book might have some good insights and tactical tips into packing better, but I'm left disappointed that it is full of long lists, and seems written for the first-time traveler.
I have implemented some of those ideas for my recent trips and it has made my life easier. This book is full of good ideas for making the ordeal of packing easier.
are excellent. for children. I now have an index card with a packing list for my daughter which makes things a lot easier. Very useful book. Perhaps a litte too much detail, but the universal packing lists, esp.
I appreciated her lists and pointing out the things I probably could leave behind. If I follow her advice I think my next vacation will be a little more pleasant than previous ones. The one thing I dread about traveling is dragging my heavy luggage around. She also listed many websites where I could review and buy luggage and packing accessory items. Thanks. I appreciated the author's solid tips on packing lighter. I'm going to try her bundle packing method in 2 weeks and believe it will work just great.
